# API to email records?

Hello Natalie,

Do you mean by how to use an API to send an email?

If so, an API or a function to send an email do not exist in kintone.  
However, you can use a kintone plugin called “Mandrill plugin” to add a function of sending an email into your kintone app.

The following kintone page shows you how to download/import the plugin. Moreover, it also gives you a thorough explanation and overview about the plugin.
