Update Summary The February 2023 update includes spec changes to the records and fields permission-related REST APIs. Maintenance Updates for February 2023
A maintenance update was applied on 22nd February 2023.
Update Summary A maintenance update includes changes to the error values returned from the plug-in settings page.
Kintone REST API Bug Fixes When kintone.api() was called from the plug-in settings page and resulted in an error, the callback function did not return a standard JSON error object. This has been fixed in a maintenance update on February 22.

End of Support Notice for Kintone UI Component v0
Kintone UI Component v0 will reach the end of support on December 31, 2023.
After this date, Kintone UI Component version 0 will no longer receive updates, including security fixes. In order to continue to receive updates, users must migrate to Kintone UI Component version 1.
End of Maintenance for Kintone UI Component v0 With the release of Kintone UI Component v1 (hereafter referred to as v1) in March 2021, the development of Kintone UI Component v0 (hereafter referred to as v0) will be discontinued.

End of Support Notice for cli-kintone v0
Kintone Command Line Tool a.k.a. cli-kintone v0 will reach the end of support on October 31, 2023.
After this date, cli-kintone v0 will no longer receive updates, including security fixes. In order to continue to receive updates, users must migrate to cli-kintone v1 .
End of Maintenance for cli-kintone v0 cli-kintone v1 (hereafter referred to as v1) has been released in October 24, 2022. Since then, cli-kintone v0 (hereafter referred to as v0) has been in maintenance mode, and further feature development has been discontinued.

API Updates for October 2023 (2nd Announcement)
Kintone conducted a scheduled maintenance update on 8th October 2023.
This is the 2nd announcement regarding the October 2023 Kintone API updates.

Update Summary A feature update in July 2023 included a new feature which allows for comma separated values in Number fields to be inputted. This feature can be enabled via the Update Options settings in the Kintone Administration panel.

The next Kintone update is on 13th November 2023. The release also includes the following API updates.
Update Summary On the update scheduled on February 2024, the Event Object and JavaScript APIs will be updated to handle non-numeric values when retrieving or rewriting the Number field. This option will be available in preview in the November update.

When using JavaScript APIs to work with the Number field, users could retrieve or rewrite with non-numeric values.

Update Summary On the update scheduled on December 2023, Spanish will be added as a display language. Some User APIs and Kintone JavaScript APIs will be affected by this update.
New Features Get or set the language to Spanish for the following fields using User API: Language (for Users) Localized Name (for Users and Departments) Get the display name in Spanish (es) when retrieving login user information using JavaScript API.

Update Summary On this update, spec changes will be made for the Event Object and JavaScript APIs when handling non-numeric values in the Number field. This option was available in the Update Options of the November 2023 update.
