Why are plug-ins only app-specific? Are there platform-level plugins as well?

Are there platform-wide plugins? Why or why not?

Currently, plugins can only be applied at app-level.
Therefore, platform-level plugins do not exist at this moment.

However, we do have platform-wide plugins in consideration for future development so is there any specific task or process that you have in your mind with the platform-wide plugins?

Hi Yuzo,

I would like to perform bulk editing of records on every one of my apps rather than needing to add a plugin to each app. It seems like a great default feature to have at a platform level!

Also, I would like to have conditional fields as a platform-level plugin. Conditional drop-down menus, for example, are basic features in other database and application builder solutions.
