Send notifications to an email address not associated with a user?

I have an email address that I’d like to use for per-record notifications, but it will not be associated with a user account.

How can I send emails from Kintone to just an email address?

My use case is that I have a group mailbox that users can access. I want emails from Kintone to go to this group mailbox rather than to them individually. That way, the users would know what notifications have been taken care of.

Hello DM,

Using Zapier might solve your issue.

However, creating a user associated with your group email would be the simplest way, if possible.

Could you try this to see if it works for you?

I was looking to stay within the confines of Kintone versus bringing in another service. I can do something similar with a webhook to AWS.

I could also apply the group email address to a user.
But then that uses up a license, and we don’t have a lot of licenses to do that every time we want to send notifications to a group mailbox or a distribution list.

Sounds like I’m going to have to do the webhook.

Maybe a future enhancement to Kintone would be a feature that allows notifications to be sent to an email address (and not just to users).
